We invite you to schedule a visit to the ranch and bring your dog along to meet us and some of our boarding dogs; our boarding dogs come in all sizes. Visits are not a prerequisite to make dog boarding reservations. An initial phone conversation will allow us to learn about your dog and his or her social history, temperament, and personality. Visits are encouraged but not required. Visits are typically scheduled on weekend and weekday mornings. If you have travel plans, please consider setting up your visit ahead of time so that we can be sure to schedule a convenient time for you, well in advance of your trip. Boarding dogs can be dropped off and picked up here at the ranch by prearranged times.
Our home style, cage free dog boarding provides unique and highly personalized care that is not offered at traditional Tucson dog boarding kennels and Tucson pet boarding services, or Tucson dog daycare facilities. Our boarding dogs enjoy human and canine company throughout the day, and activities that provide mental and physical stimulation to promote a healthy mind and body for your dog!
Boarding Rate: $50 per day (24 hour period. Partial days prorated).
20% discount for 2nd dog same family ($40 a day for 2nd dog).
10% discount for extended stays of 10 days or longer.
Dog Day Care For The Tucson Area:
Currently, we are providing limited dog daycare to our regular dog boarding clients, when they are not out of town but occasionally need their dog cared for during the day. The dogs are able to spend the day with us and enjoy all the fun activities along with all our boarding dogs. Our spacious hiking area, inviting swimming pool, dog agility playground, and comfortable custom home, make Adventure Dog Ranch an exeptional alternative to regular Tucson dog daycare.
Dog Day Care Rate: $35 per day (8 AM to 5 PM)
Dog Behavior Consults And Dog Socialization Training Program:
We also offer behavioral consultation for dogs with mild to moderate social issues in relating to humans and other dogs. This service begins with an initial phone conversation and, based on the information provided, we can simply give advice and dog training tips, or recommend a visit to the ranch for a one on one session. When appropriate, we can arrange a stay at the ranch that will focus on a gradual rehabilitation of a dog's social skills. We have achieved great success in transforming dogs that have undeveloped or atrophied socialization instincts into outgoing, confident and balanced dogs. The vast majority of dogs are capable of being social - they simply need the right opportunity and guidance to develop their natural instinct as social pack animals.
As a side note, while we don't offer traditional dog obedience training programs, the daily routines and activities at Adventure Dog Ranch intrinsically promote good dog manners, following direction, and responding to basic obedience commands.
Dog Behavior Consult rate: initial phone consult - no charge courtesy consult. $75 one-on-one ranch session.
Dog Socialization Training Program rate: Charged at standard boarding rate. Minimum 7 day stay.
Hello, Thom & Connie,
We returned home to Texas today and wanted to thank you so much for taking such great care of Daisy while we enjoyed our visit with family in Tucson. It was the best vacation and visit we've had in a long time because we didn't have to worry about what mischief Daisy was getting into at our parent's house or feel guilty because we left her in a Tucson dog kennel or at the vet's office for a week. It was obvious that she enjoyed her adventures at your ranch! We love your cage free dog boarding and all the fun activities for the dogs. Our entire family enjoyed looking at the photo albums that you sent to us every evening. You have quite a talent with photography and dogs!
We look forward to a return visit for Daisy! Jeff, Cynthia and Daisy
