We have been caring for dogs for over five years in the Tucson area, beginning in the Foothills area, as Dog Day Adventures, and modeling our business plan and vision to expand and realize our dream of moving to the country and opening a dog boarding ranch. And so, Adventure Dog Ranch was born!
Connie and I are proud to offer our homestyle, cage free dog boarding service to people who want to give their dog an enriching, positive, boarding experience, and thereby free themselves of concerns for their dog when they need to travel. Just wanted to thank you again for everything. It was so nice to go on vacation and not only not worry about the dogs but know they were getting much needed time with other dogs and people. Your place is so much fun for the dogs! Much better than regular Tucson pet boarding facilities or Tucson dog kennels!

I just wanted to send a note thanking you for the obviously great time that Luca had at Adventure Dog Ranch!!
He came back so happy and tired, and has been extra responsive ever since...Coming right away when I call, etc. And then, on Saturday I took him to a dog park for the first time! He did great!
I loved seeing the pictures of him socializing and playing with the other dogs. I am much happier with your service than I was with other pet boarding places or dog kennels that I have used in the past.
Thank you again. We'll be back again, and I'm telling everyone I meet about Luca's special week at the ranch!!

I am pet first aid and CPR certified and a long standing member of the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. I am also a member of APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) and have provided behavioral consults to dog owners in the Tucson area for over five years. I use positive reinforcement techniques that utilize praise, rewards, consistency, and timing to foster trust and comprehension in the dog's mind.
Connie works part time as a registered nurse, and we share our love of dogs and a philosophy that places great value on the mental, physical and emotional benefit of having a dog in a person's life, and the importance of creating a harmonious, balanced relationship between the person and the dog. We bring a dog into our lives to enrich our lives; it serves ourselves and our dogs to enhance this relationship by teaching our dogs how we want them to behave and what we expect from them. It is a dog's nature to follow our lead when we provide clear, positive, and benevolent leadership. By establishing this natural relationship with our dogs, we are able to fully enjoy one of the most rewarding relationships we will have in our lives.
